Aftercare
At Tattootopia, we care about your tattoos and want to ensure they heal properly. That's why we provide you with aftercare instructions to follow once your tattoo is complete. Taking proper care of your new art is vital for it to heal correctly and look its absolute best.

Keep the fresh bandage on your new tattoo no more than 1-2 hours after completion

Carefully wash the tattooed area thoroughly with your fingertips using only antibacterial soap and water

Gently pat dry and apply a thin layer of unscented lotion

Continue to clean the tattooed area 2-3 times daily and apply a thin layer of unscented lotion afterwards as needed - typically around 2 weeks

DO NOT use anything abrasive like scrubs or exfoliators
- Pat gently to dry the tattooed area, do not rub
- Avoid exposing the tattooed area to direct sun or submerging the area in water for at least 2 weeks
- Pools, baths, beaches, etc.
